Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs your use of the Team Udaan QR mobile application. The application is designed and engineered as a fully client-side, offline-first mobile utility. All operations—including scanning QR codes through your live camera, reading images from local gallery albums, and generating customizable QR code graphics—happen natively and directly on your physical phone hardware. We do not operate, host, or query external server databases to log, analyze, store, or transmit your processed information.

To provide essential code scanning and generation features, the application requires access to specific system APIs. These permissions are requested at runtime and only operated under your explicit direction:

• Camera Access (NSCameraUsageDescription / android.permission.CAMERA): Required to initialize the camera viewport. The application processes video frame buffers in-memory using localized machine learning algorithms to locate and decode barcode coordinates. Camera streams are discarded immediately and are never recorded, cached, or written to disk.

• Photo Library Access (NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription / NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription): Requested exclusively when you manually select an image from your device's photo rolls to analyze for QR codes, or when you explicitly click the "Save Gallery" button to download a customized QR code image.

Your scan results and generated QR records are stored in a local history cache inside the application's private sandboxed directory. This storage is implemented using native system tools (SharedPreferences). The records remain entirely on your physical handset and are inaccessible to outside networks or other apps. You maintain complete control over this localized data and can permanently wipe it at any time by selecting the "Clear All History" setting in the app. Once wiped, these records are unrecoverable as no remote backups exist.

We do not integrate third-party advertisement networks, social media plug-ins, or telemetry analytical SDKs (such as Google Analytics, Firebase, or Flurry). The application contains no tracking cookies or user identification tags. Because we do not compile profiles, monitor usage patterns, or collect metadata about your scans, your activities remain fully confidential and sandboxed.

We believe in providing extra safety parameters for children using mobile applications. Team Udaan QR does not harvest, request, or process any Personally Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. Since the app functions purely offline on the user's handset and does not transmit any online data packets, it is fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international child privacy regulations.

Under modern data protection frameworks (such as GDPR in Europe and CCPA in California), users hold absolute rights regarding their personal data (including the right to access, rectify, restrict, and erase personal logs). Because Team Udaan QR processes and caches all data strictly within your physical possession on your local device, you can exercise these rights directly. Erasing your data, accessing your logs, or restricting storage processing is handled entirely by managing your history items or uninstalling the app.

By downloading, installing, or operating our mobile application, you hereby consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to revise or update these terms as the application evolves. Any future changes will be posted directly inside this page and noted in the settings section of the mobile application.
